Message from CoD, Curriculum and Teaching


This is an amalgamated department that combines the two departments of Curriculum and Instruction Technology and that of Science and Mathematics Education. The operations in the department are guided by the listed quality statements.

The department seeks to meet the following strategic objectives;

  1. Produce graduates with right knowledge, skills, and attitudes for development
  2. Generate knowledge that will help create pedagogical strengths for learning
  3. Develop research culture to enhance the quality of education
  4. Promote linkages and collaboration among faculties locally and internationally
  5. Promote application of knowledge, skills and attitudes in solving socioeconomic problems in the community through dissemination and extension.
